The conditions created for Ukraine's stand at the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku have been highly appreciated. Yulia Chileneva, representing Ukraine's Ministry of Communities and Territories Development, told Oxu.Az that the support was vital.

“First, I express gratitude for the invitation. Through this platform, we convey the truth about the current situation and war damage to the global community,” she said.

Emphasizing Azerbaijan's practical help, Chileneva noted: “Azerbaijan assisted us, especially in setting up heating points during the most difficult periods. This may seem small, but it was vital for us.”

Discussing reconstruction, she highlighted the importance of global experience exchange. “We closely study the experience of different countries. In this regard, Karabakh's restoration is a very important and useful model for us,” she added.

Chileneva stressed the role of innovative technologies and smart city projects: “Digitalization improves citizens' quality of life and makes services more accessible. Cities should be restored at a more modern level.”
