Anaclaudia Rossbach, Executive Director of the UN-Habitat, announced significant progress in cooperation with Azerbaijan on housing issues.
Speaking at a panel discussion during WUF13, Rossbach emphasized the need to develop local capacity and establish national urban policies and housing finance systems.
Through an open working group, progress has been made with Kenya, France, Azerbaijan, and Somalia on land, financing, informal settlements, social housing, and climate-resilient housing.
