University diplomas will be issued online starting this year.
Oxu.Az reports citing Modern.az that the Ministry of Science and Education has issued instructions to Azerbaijani higher education institutions.
"The issuance of diplomas in electronic, online form to students from this academic year has already been discussed and necessary preparations have begun," said higher education centers.
It was also noted that diplomas will be provided electronically to both bachelor's and master's students.
As a result, students can easily obtain their diplomas via the "my gov" platform.
It should be noted that in Azerbaijan, higher education institutions currently issue diplomas mainly in physical form, not electronic. The process can take several months due to the preparation of diploma blanks, data verification, registration, and signing procedures.
