In a touching act of love and community service, Abdulmajid Ziyadov from Fındıqlı village, Zaqatala, used money intended for his wife's funeral to repair the road leading to the village cemetery.
According to Baku TV, after 42 years of marriage, losing his wife Narmina, Ziyadov decided to honor her memory by fixing the dilapidated road, which had caused great difficulty for mourners.
Villagers praised his gesture, noting that the two-kilometer road was often muddy and impassable during rains. Ziyadov also expressed his desire to set an example for others and plans to dig an artesian well in his late wife's name.
