Vocational Training Updated in Prisons

Vocational training programs in prisons are being renewed to improve quality under the 2025-2030 Action Plan.

On June 12, the Ministry of Science and Education held the first meeting of the Working Group established to improve the quality of vocational training in penitentiary institutions.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Science and Education, Ministry of Justice, and Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

Chairman Turxan Suleyman informed about the renewal of vocational education standards and program adaptation under the 2025-2030 Action Plan.

Discussions focused on aligning vocational programs with internal prison rules, updating state standards, and preparing a framework document.

The Working Group was established by ministerial order, including representatives from relevant agencies.
