When do WUF13 special lanes in Baku get removed?

Baku's WUF13 special lanes removal date announced: May 23. Signs removed, except on Mehdi Abbasov Street where the lane stays active.

When do WUF13 special lanes in Baku get removed?

Special temporary lanes established for the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku will be deactivated after the event.

According to the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), starting May 23, road signs 5.9 indicating bus lanes will be removed. Those lanes will be considered deactivated, and drivers can enter them.

However, the special lane on Mehdi Abbasov Street will remain in effect, following a decision by the Transport Coordination Council. This ensures uninterrupted public transport movement in the area.

Drivers are advised to be attentive and comply with road sign regulations.
