Founded on July 6, 2023, the Baku Initiative Group (BQG) supports parties fighting colonialism.
BQG Executive Director Abbas Abbasov told Baku TV that the organization closely cooperates with political movements in overseas territories such as New Caledonia, French Polynesia, and Martinique.
He also noted that BQG is a globally recognized influential NGO, and UN institutions refer to its reports. The partnership with the Sikh community aims to bring transnational repressions to the international level.
