In Azerbaijan, certain categories of individuals are eligible for subsidized housing. This right is regulated by law.

Eligible persons for subsidized housing:

Young family members under 35
Children of martyrs
Children of National Heroes of the Patriotic War
Children of National Heroes
Internally displaced persons (IDPs)
Those who have served in civil service for at least 3 years
Teachers working in public schools for at least 3 years
Holders of a PhD degree
Individuals with special merits in sports
Journalists with at least 5 years of experience registered in the Media Register
