In Azerbaijan, certain categories of individuals are eligible for subsidized housing. This right is regulated by law.

Eligible persons for subsidized housing:

  • Young family members under 35
  • Children of martyrs
  • Children of National Heroes of the Patriotic War
  • Children of National Heroes
  • Internally displaced persons (IDPs)
  • Those who have served in civil service for at least 3 years
  • Teachers working in public schools for at least 3 years
  • Holders of a PhD degree
  • Individuals with special merits in sports
  • Journalists with at least 5 years of experience registered in the Media Register
