Azerbaijan raises women's retirement age to 65

Starting today, women's retirement age in Azerbaijan has reached 65. This aligns it with men's retirement age.

Recall that for men, this threshold was completed on June 30, 2021.

According to the Law on Labor Pensions, the retirement age has been increasing by 6 months annually since July 1, 2017. The process ends on July 1, 2021 for men and July 1, 2027 for women.
