Canada, USA, Germany, Serbia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Gambia, Eswatini, Afghanistan, Pakistan and dozens more countries... People from all corners of the world gathered in Azerbaijan's capital to discuss settlement, one of the pressing issues for humanity.
As the Oxu.Az team, we tried not to miss any topic from the first moments to the end of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), which started on May 17.
WUF13 hosted over 57,000 participants from 176 countries. More than 400 events, including the first-ever Leaders' Summit, were held.
The Oxu.Az team produced nearly 400 news items, exclusive statements, interviews, and features in six days. Correspondents, photographers, videographers, translators, editors, and social media experts worked seamlessly.
WUF13 went down in history as the largest session of the World Urban Forum to date. It was the second biggest international event in the country after COP29. Baku once again served as a platform for global solidarity and partnership.
