The 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku has started its second day.

Today, for the first time in WUF history, a Leaders Summit is taking place. An official opening press conference was also held.

The press conference discussed the global housing crisis, safe and sustainable cities, and urbanization policies.

Throughout the day, the Joint Closing Ceremony of Assemblies, Africa Regional Ministerial Meeting, and MINURVI session will be held.

The forum runs until May 22. Over 40,000 participants from 182 countries have registered.
