On May 13, from 10:00 to 14:00, a traffic monitoring will be held ahead of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku from May 17-22, 2026.
Streets affected include Neftchilar Avenue, Yusif Safarov Street, part of Heydar Aliyev Avenue (to Sabunchu Bridge), Mehdi Huseyn, Khojaly, Richard Sorge, Zarifa Aliyeva, Lermontov streets, and the area around Baku Olympic Stadium.
Drivers are advised to plan trips in advance and use alternative routes.
The "H1" express bus between the airport and city center will operate normally. Private cars and taxis can access the airport via alternative roads.
Similar monitoring was successfully implemented for previous global events in Azerbaijan.
