More than 40,000 participants from 182 countries have registered for the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) to date.

According to Oxu.Az, this was announced by the WUF13 Azerbaijan Operating Company.

"This strong global response reflects the growing interest in WUF13, as well as a shared commitment to shaping safer, more inclusive, and sustainable cities and communities. Baku is ready to welcome the world," the statement emphasized.

WUF13 will be held in Baku from May 17-22. The forum is organized in close cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), focusing on sustainable urban development, smart cities, and innovative urban solutions.
