Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Yalchin Rafiyev spoke to journalists during the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.

He stated that the main conditions for the reconstruction process are financial resources and a peaceful environment. However, the main difficulty is the landmine problem.

Rafiyev said: "Even with funding and peace, landmines hinder restoration. It is a humanitarian issue that requires joint international efforts."

The Deputy Minister highlighted that Azerbaijan acts as a bridge by hosting global events like COP29 and WUF13. The country continues multilateral diplomacy and will preserve the legacy of these events.
