A citizen complained on social media about a parking lot in Baku's Yasamal district.

According to him, while trying to park his car, he could not activate the parking service and was fined. The reason was that the required code on the parking sign was not visible.

The complained area is on Shafayat Mehdiyev Street. The main cause is that a construction company fenced off the area where the parking sign is located. As a result, the sign and its code are behind the barrier, preventing drivers from reading the information and activating the service, leading to fines.

Ulvi Rasulov, a representative of the construction company, told Baku TV: "We have contacted the '141' call center of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency many times. Maybe 10-15 times we requested them to come and fix the issue. We even offered to be allowed to remove the parking sign and place it on the roadside so people can easily see it. Despite our repeated requests, no action has been taken."
