Ferrari's shares dropped by about 8% after the launch of its first electric vehicle, the "Ferrari Luce."
According to Bloomberg, analysts and influencers mostly reacted negatively to the model.
The four-door, five-seat "Ferrari Luce" was compared to mass-market EVs like the Tesla Model 3, Nissan Leaf, and Honda. However, technical specs are impressive: 1,000 hp, 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, top speed over 310 km/h.
Since the start of the year, Ferrari's market value has fallen 8.9% to €73.3 billion ($85.2 billion), though it remains Europe's most valuable automaker.
The new model starts at €520,000 and is the first Ferrari EV to seat four passengers comfortably.
