During summer months, it's advisable to limit consumption of certain foods.
Russian endocrinologist Aleksey Kalinchev told RBK Life that in hot weather, it's important to reduce fatty foods, especially fatty meat.
Dietitian Natalya Lazurenko recommended removing ready-made salads with mayonnaise from the diet, as high temperatures accelerate bacterial growth, and additives for longer shelf life may affect quality.
Experts emphasize that fresh appearance or lack of unpleasant odor does not guarantee safety. Many pathogenic microorganisms do not alter taste or appearance.
The main risks in summer include intestinal infections, dehydration, and digestive disorders. Children, adolescents, the elderly, pregnant women, and immunocompromised individuals should be especially careful.
It's better to opt for freshly prepared meals, vegetable salads without heavy sauces, and foods that are not stored for long periods.
