Antar al-Absi, known as the "Yemeni Spider-Man" on social media, died after falling into the crater of the Damt volcano in southern Yemen.
According to Oxu.Az citing israelinfo.co.il, the body of the 30-year-old blogger was recovered by rescuers.
He was famous for climbing rocks and descending into volcanic craters without protective gear. During the incident, he slipped while climbing the inner wall of the crater and fell dozens of meters.
Witnesses say he fell into hot mineral water accumulated at the bottom of the crater.
