Laptops, smartphones, smartwatches, and wireless headphones working simultaneously can cause interruptions in the Wi-Fi network.
Professor Aleksey Yurasov warns that two smartphones operating in LTE and Wi-Fi bands can create a "third frequency" of about 1.9 GHz, interfering with 2G base stations.
These parasitic signals can suppress incoming calls or distort messages. The gadgets themselves remain fully functional, but this factor leads to sudden disconnections.
The professor explains: "During a stable internet connection, video call drops and hissing in wireless headphones when a microwave is turned on are caused by frequency collisions."
