Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that war with Iran could resume in the coming days.
According to Oxu.Az citing the Ynet portal, Katz stated at a briefing for Israeli journalists: "We could already be at war with Iran tomorrow. I confirm our policy: if Iran fires rockets at Israel, Israel will strike Iran hard. This could happen within days. The Israel Defense Forces are anticipating this and are on high alert."
He outlined two scenarios for the resumption of war with Iran: "First, if Trump decides that negotiations are exhausted and wants to attack; second, if Iraq or Iran attacks Israel."
The minister noted that Israel does not want to obstruct President Trump in the path he has chosen. "However, if Iran attacks, it will be the third Iran war," Katz added.
According to the defense minister, Iran is considering options to attack Israel, especially in response to Israeli strikes on Lebanon.
