In Tokyo, Japan, the world's thinnest chocolate bar has been produced. Its thickness is only 0.03 millimeters.

According to Oxu.Az, this was reported by "Oddity Central".

This exclusive dessert, called "Corteccia", is made by "MATTE Bottega del Cioccolato" in Tokyo.

It took a full year and a half to develop the product. Resembling tree bark in appearance, the sweet is rolled into a cylindrical shape. To achieve such thinness, a special machine that presses chocolate into an ultra-thin layer was used. The equipment was created through the joint efforts of local engineering experts.

The main goal of the producers was to create a unique texture: the chocolate should melt instantly upon touching the tongue.
