U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Iran, stating that if a final agreement is not reached within 60 days, military operations will resume.
Speaking at a press conference in Evian, France, Trump said: "The agreement is exactly as we wanted. If we couldn't reach a deal with Iran, we could have bombed them for another two years. If no agreement is reached within 60 days, we will resume bombing."
The U.S. president also mentioned sending a copy of the memorandum to Israel, commenting on Netanyahu: "Netanyahu sometimes gets a bit too excited, but he is a good partner. Israel could have done better on the Hezbollah issue."
Trump emphasized that the memorandum is not the final agreement, warning: "If I am not satisfied with the progress, we will resume military operations."
