China has successfully launched its crewed Shenzhou-23 spacecraft into orbit. According to China Central Television, the spacecraft separated from the carrier rocket and entered the designated orbit. The crew is in good condition and the launch is considered successful.
The launch took place at 23:08 local time (18:08 Baku time) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.
The crew will conduct over 100 scientific experiments in orbit, including experiments on artificial embryos, rare earth alloys, and new batteries.
