Armenia's Constitutional Court has rejected the opposition's claim to annul the results of the parliamentary election held on June 7.
According to Oxu.Az, the court upheld the decision of the Central Election Commission. The case was reviewed over six days, with court sessions lasting approximately 50 hours.
It is recalled that the 'Strong Armenia' and 'Armenia' blocs, as well as several parties, had petitioned the court to invalidate the results or call a second round, alleging systematic and widespread violations during the vote.
In the June 7 election, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's 'Civil Contract' party won 49.83% of the vote, securing the right to form a government alone.
