On July 4, eight powerful solar flares erupted on the Sun, according to Russia's Applied Geophysics Institute (AGI).
The flares began at 03:00 Moscow time (04:00 Baku time), lasting between 15 and 36 minutes each. Their magnitudes ranged from M1.1 to M4.1.
AGI reported that the magnetic storm observed over the past day reached G3 level. This could impact radio communications on Earth.
