An ice mass has collapsed onto a climbers' camp at an altitude of 5,360 meters on Mount Everest.
According to initial reports, at least two climbers have been injured. The ice mass fell onto tents, creating a powerful air blast.
Video footage shows tourists calmly filming the approaching danger before taking shelter in their tents at the last moment. The collapse occurred in the Khumbu Icefall, known as one of the most dangerous sections of the Everest route, triggering a strong avalanche.
Further details on the condition of the injured climbers have not yet been released.
