A fire broke out at a former ammunition depot in western Germany amid hot weather conditions.
Authorities evacuated all residents of the municipality of Traisen due to the forest fire.
According to Oxu.Az citing "Tagesschau", about 650 people were relocated.
The fire started around noon the previous day. By June 28, it had spread to nearly three hectares.
Residents of Traisen were housed in a sports complex in a neighboring municipality.
The fire occurred in a nature reserve formerly used for ammunition disposal. Old munitions began to explode, complicating emergency response.
