Two children from the same family were found dead inside a car in Cyprus, in an area under the jurisdiction of the British military bases of Akrotiri and Dhekelia.
According to Oxu.Az, the car was parked locked near a multi-story residential building in the village of Xylofagou. British police are investigating the incident.
Initial reports suggest the children died from suffocation due to lack of air, and also suffered burns from the sun. The exact cause of death will be determined by a forensic examination.
The children, aged 8 and 10, were citizens of a Balkan country, according to Phileleftheros newspaper.
