Iran's state television sparked outrage by cutting off a pre-recorded interview with Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf mid-air.
The incident triggered public debate. The interview was interrupted as Qalibaf responded to accusations from hardliners over a memorandum with the US.
Critics accuse Qalibaf of allowing frozen assets to be used for agricultural imports. He argued the same mechanism was used under former President Raisi.
The second part aired after protests. The Media Center stated the full version was submitted two hours before broadcast.
