Solar activity is increasing as huge sunspots approach the visible side of the Sun, already affecting space weather.
According to the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics, activity has begun to rise. Approaching huge sunspots from the opposite side are exerting pressure on space weather conditions.
It will take one to two days for these spots to emerge on the visible side of the Sun. Meanwhile, explosions in the upper corona are partially visible due to the horizon, disrupting the previous smooth activity dynamics.
The situation is not yet considered dangerous. The Solar Orbiter spacecraft is transmitting data on the destruction of active regions on the far side of the Sun. However, final conclusions will be drawn after these regions appear on the visible side.
The geomagnetic situation remains calm: a "green" level is observed on the charts.
