Turkey's Presidential Directorate of Communications' Center for Combating Disinformation has denied claims of a possible terrorist attack during the NATO summit in Ankara.
In an official statement, the center said allegations circulating on social media about possible incidents during the international summit are unfounded.
The center assessed that such posts aim to create unnecessary anxiety among the public and distort the real situation.
Authorities have taken all necessary security measures, and legal proceedings have been initiated against those spreading false information.
Citizens are advised to rely only on official sources and not trust unverified information.
