It is almost impossible to determine fuel quality before filling the tank.
According to Oxu.Az, this was stated by automotive expert Roman Gulyaev in an interview with aif.ru.
The expert noted that there is no visual method to check fuel quality: "Diagnosis is only possible after the engine is started. Unfortunately, low-quality fuel can only be detected post factum, after it has already been poured into the tank."
The expert emphasized that the car itself will signal the problem to the driver. The key is to pay attention to the vehicle's reactions. If, after leaving the gas station, the car does not respond adequately to the gas pedal, it is a clear sign of "poisoning" the fuel system:
"The driver can immediately notice changes in engine performance. The engine starts vibrating, loses power, and the car does not move normally as before."
