Decorative art master Nigar Mehdiyeva started making unique candles 9 years ago by ordering molds from different countries.
With a background in ecology, she draws inspiration from nature. Shape, detail, and color choices are inspired by the natural world.
Over time, she moved beyond ready-made molds and began creating her own silicone molds, elevating her craft to a professional level.
This activity has become not just production but art. She transforms everyday details into creative material.
"This work requires great patience. Sometimes I spend hours or even days on a single piece," says Nigar. Candle making also serves as emotional relaxation.
Preferring natural raw materials, she mainly uses soy wax and beeswax. Thus, she combines eco-friendly production with personalized design.
