Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev said that Agdam is called the "Hiroshima of the Caucasus." This is due to destruction caused by human hands, not nuclear weapons.
Speaking at the "WUF13 NGO Forum," he noted that cities were completely destroyed during the occupation. However, new life is reviving on those lands, and new cities are being built.
Hajiyev emphasized that Azerbaijan is ready to share its urban planning experience with the world. The country is hosting the World Urban Forum.
