Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with a delegation led by Numan Kurtulmus, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, Baku's hosting of the 20th Session of the Parliamentary Union Conference of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was assessed as an important event.
It was noted with satisfaction that the relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, based on brotherhood, alliance, and mutual trust, are successfully developing in all areas.
Emphasizing that inter-parliamentary cooperation is an important component of bilateral relations, the significance of close contacts and mutual visits between the legislative bodies of both countries was highlighted.
The parties expressed confidence that the Azerbaijan-Turkey strategic partnership will continue to be enriched with new content and discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
