Military personnel will soon be equipped with personal identification tokens.
President Ilham Aliyev has signed amendments to the laws "On Military Service" and "On Military Duty and Military Service."
According to the document, tokens will be issued by the state bodies where service members serve. The legislation now includes the concept of "personal token" and its usage rules.
Additionally, a new article on pre-conscription training has been added. The Cabinet of Ministers must prepare regulations on youth pre-conscription training within two months and rules on token design, features, and accounting within six months, then report to the President.
