UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed spoke at the closing ceremony of WUF13. She expressed deep gratitude to the Azerbaijani government and people for hosting the forum.
Mohammed noted that in various regions of Azerbaijan, reconstruction, development, and reintegration are underway. In Agdam, one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities, she witnessed both renewal and resilience.
The UN official emphasized that without sustainable urbanization and housing policies, achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is impossible. She called for multilateral cooperation in challenging times.
