European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated that Azerbaijan can play the role of a hub for clean energy in the region.

She made these remarks in a press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

"You have great potential in the Caspian Sea, and Azerbaijan can also serve as a hub for clean energy in the region," she added.
