The transformation of Zangilan into a strategic logistics hub is one of Azerbaijan's most important geoeconomic projects in the post-conflict period.
According to Oxu.Az citing Baku TV, restoration and reconstruction in liberated territories not only rebuild infrastructure but also shape the future economic and logistics map of the region.
Zangilan's geographic location gives it a transit advantage at the intersection of the East-West and North-South international transport corridors.
Current focus is on opening the Zangezur corridor, building railway infrastructure, and integrating international transport routes. These projects are part of Azerbaijan's strategy to become a transport hub in Eurasia.
A key feature of Azerbaijan's policy is its long-term strategic development concept: the goal is not just to restore destroyed infrastructure but to integrate the region into a modern economic and transport system.
This approach strengthens the prospect of Zangilan becoming a major logistics and trade center in the South Caucasus in the coming years.
