Romania's "Curs De Guvernare" publication reported that work is underway to create a new electricity corridor, analogous to the TANAP project.
The project aims to deliver Azerbaijan's energy resources to European markets via Turkey and will enhance energy ties among Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria, and other Southeast European countries.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio characterized the TRIPP project as an anchor of the peace agreement and a revolutionary initiative. He emphasized active US involvement and that the signed agreement will create new investment opportunities for American companies and regional partners.
