The Baku Initiative Group (BIG) is holding an international conference dedicated to the Indian government's repressive policies against ethnic minorities.
Entitled “June 1984, Amritsar events: Transnational repression of ethnic minorities in India in the context of genocide,” the event includes representatives of the Dalit community.
Participants also include prominent members of the Sikh community from Canada, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, and the US, as well as think tank leaders, human rights experts, and direct victims of repression.
