We want to present the "Baku Urban Award" in Azerbaijan.
Oxu.Az reports that these remarks were made by Anaclaudia Rossbach, Executive Director of the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), during the presentation ceremony of the "Baku Urban Award" initiative held within the framework of the World Urban Forum.
She stated that her organization is committed to close cooperation with the Azerbaijani government:
"For the first time, we are bringing together practices applied in different parts of the world. We are working to collect and consolidate the existing practices that are being demonstrated here. Within the forum, we want to present the "Baku Urban Award". The forum in Baku will be unforgettable."
