The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has halted its involvement in preparing intelligence assessments, particularly regarding a possible war with Iran.
According to Baku TV, this decision stems from disputes between the CIA and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence over data sharing and authority.
Internal tensions between the two agencies have persisted for over a year, negatively affecting collaboration on national security analyses.
U.S. presidents traditionally rely on these assessments during international crises. The rift could create additional challenges for the Trump administration.
