Chief Minister of Punjab Province of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, sent a congratulatory letter to President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Oxu.Az citing President.az, the letter states: "Your Excellency. I am pleased to extend my sincere congratulations to you, your Government, and the brotherly people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of your national holiday - May 28 - Independence Day."

The letter notes that the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in 1918 is a proud testament to the people's unwavering commitment to sovereignty and national dignity.

President of the Republic of Maldives, Mohamed Muizzu, also sent a congratulatory letter to Ilham Aliyev, expressing satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations.
