On June 29, the first meeting of the Digital Development Council was held under the chairmanship of Azerbaijan's First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva.
According to Oxu.Az citing AZERTAC, the First Vice-President delivered a speech. She highlighted the country's digital development strategy and the Roadmap for the next three years.
Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev reported on the implementation of the Action Plan. The plan covers 58 initiatives, including digitalization, artificial intelligence, innovation ecosystem, and cybersecurity.
Presidential Assistant Shahmar Movsumov presented digital legislative reforms. He noted that this is the most comprehensive reform initiative in the post-Soviet space.
Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev spoke about digitalization projects in education. The meeting continued with discussions.
