The Euro-Atlantic Azerbaijani Advocacy Council (EAPCA) has submitted a protest appeal to the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Dutch Parliament regarding the biased and one-sided resolution adopted against Azerbaijan on April 16 in The Hague.
According to Oxu.Az, EAPCA head Sahil Gasimov submitted the official appeal on May 26 to Aryen Vesterhof, Secretary of the Foreign Affairs Committee, and Jennifer Richardson, Secretary for Kingdom Relations and Foreign Affairs.
The meeting was attended by EAPCA board member Ofelya Babayeva, young members Mendi Viynqart and Umut Demirtaş, and Ilkane van den Berg, head of the War Stories society from Aghdam.
The appeal states that the Dutch Parliament has once again demonstrated a position far from objectivity, international law, and fair approach, viewing regional processes selectively and through political interests.
EAPCA calls on the Dutch Parliament to accept the new realities in the South Caucasus.
