Emin Huseynov: Great Return program accelerates

Emin Huseynov, special representative of the President for Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand, spoke about the progress of the Great Return program at an event in the Azerbaijan Pavilion during WUF13.

He stated that currently there are 72 settlements in Aghdam, 60 in Fuzuli, and 83 in Jabrayil.

Under the program, 11 residential complexes, 25,000 apartments, and 18,864 individual houses have been built. People already live there, and infrastructure facilities are operational.

16 highways totaling 593.7 km and a railway from Barda to Aghdam have been completed. A complex combining a railway station and bus station was built for the first time.

The international airport was constructed in just 8 months on a heavily mined area. Additionally, 10 substations, 5 water facilities supplied by 2 main water canals, and 4 main gas pipelines were commissioned.
