The EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, Magdalena Grono, visited Baku and met with Azerbaijani officials.
The meetings covered the regional situation, EU-Azerbaijan relations, and the prospects of the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process.
Magdalena Grono wrote on X: "Glad to be back in Baku. Held intensive consultations with Hikmat Hajiyev, Elchin Amirbayov, and Elnur Mammadov."
Discussions included regional processes, transport connectivity opportunities, the peace process, and upcoming high-level engagements with the EU.
Grono emphasized: "We agreed on the need to maintain the positive dynamics towards a sustainable peace agreement. The EU will continue its support for this process."
