The fifth day of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku has started.
According to Oxu.Az, the forum will continue with discussions today.
Topics for discussion include "Development of Azerbaijan's first national sustainability standard: Sustainable Practices Standard", "The central role of housing in crisis recovery and reconstruction", "A new deal on housing finance", "Capacity building for climate-resilient nature-based solutions (NbS) projects for cities", and others.
It is worth recalling that the forum began on May 17, with the official opening ceremony held on May 18, where President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan delivered a speech.
WUF13 is organized jointly by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) and the Azerbaijani government.
Dedicated to the theme "Housing for all: Safe and sustainable cities and settlements", the forum will continue until May 22.
