The first meeting of heads of religious bodies from member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is being held in Shusha.
The event includes the OTS Secretary General and leaders from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
The goal is to preserve shared spiritual values and enhance cooperation.
Discussions will cover state-religion relations, education, legislation, and personnel training.
Topics also include preservation of religious monuments, interfaith dialogue, Islamic solidarity, and combating religious radicalism.
A key agenda item is establishing a permanent cooperation mechanism within the OTS.
A joint statement is expected to be signed at the end.
